CHIP-12 (colloquially Chip) is an uncommon protogen and former gofer.

Chip was designed by the Nehixim as a general errand runner. When someone e was working for died in eir presence, Chip went into hiding, fearing being shut down. E eventually joined a protogen rebellion group and fled to E1, although e still struggles against compulsions to be subservient to the Primogenitors.
